Jarmela
Speta was honored for her contributions and achievements as an International Quartet
Champion (Nota Belles, 1955; Rarities, 1970), certified
music arranger, IMAP coordinator, and certified sound and expression
judge. Speta directs Opus 2000 (formerly the
Racine Sweet Adelines Chorus) as she has for the past forty-nine years and led them to the Sweet Adelines’ inaugural International Chorus Championship in 1973. |
